CEAL is a non-profit collaborative of 11 national organizations that builds upon the work of the Assisted Living Workgroup (ALW), [U.S. Senate Special Committed on Aging Initiative].

CEAL’s aim is to:

  • Promote high-quality assisted living
  • Serve as a national clearinghouse, bringing together research, practices, and policy that foster quality and affordability in assisted living

Promoting Excellence in Assisted Living Awards Program

CEAL has established a Promoting Excellence in Assisted Living Awards Program to recognize practices of excellence in assisted living.  Award winners have been recognized in five categories:  person-centered care, workforce, dementia, health, and environment/design.
